Reggie Groff: Producer / Director / DP
Reggie has been creating film and video content for more than thirty years. His ability to elicit meaningful, poignant stories from interview subjects has resulted not only in attention-grabbing and entertaining and successful projects, but also in longstanding client relationships. Reggie has produced and directed hundreds of commercial and corporate productions in addition to programs for television networks and numerous TV pilots. Passionate about storytelling in all its forms, Reggie spends his much of his own time developing new documentaries, TV shows, product ideas, as well as spending time with his daughter and extended family. |
Mercedes Mehling: Director / Camera / Editor
Mercedes is a 2012 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she studied Anthropology and Sociology. After graduating she worked as a Video Editor for the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth where she found her niche in creating narratives through editing. Since then she has dipped her toes into many disciplines: she was a Development Intern in Seattle, a Snowboard Instructor in Washington and Colorado, a Farmer in Cape Elizabeth, and a Trail Crew Member in Northern Maine. In her free time Mercedes enjoys taking photos wherever she goes and shooting and editing her own videos. She created a video about her work at Maine Huts & Trails which won the 2015 Maine Outdoor Film Festival's amateur film contest. |
Olin Smith: Director / Camera / Production Manager
A seasoned director of photography/videographer and he enjoys the technical and artistic challenges of design and composition while working within the practical considerations of time, budget, and producer/client direction. He has extensive skills in studio and field lighting, field audio, and client relationships; solid editing abilities in Final Cut Pro X; Adobe Premiere and basic skills in graphics design. Olin has worked with C-SPAN, Dr. Phil, Oprah, Inside Edition, PBS Newshour, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and other network television programs that required adherence to specific production styles and standards in addition to producing five independent feature films. |
Todd Erickson: Web / Social Media Branding / SNAP
Some would say that Todd is a true “renaissance man” - musician/producer, computer/audio technician, communications and energy efficiency/sustainability consultant, activist, carpenter/mechanic, husband, and father. We just call him valuable. Todd brings 30 years of technological, music/recording industry, media, and event marketing experience to the Groff Video team. He specializes in what he calls "SNAP", or, Social Network Action Planning. Whether assisting with web design or creating brand launch campaigns for social media, Todd's expertise is developing that critical link between new and traditional media so that a project's reach and potential are maximized. |
